Wow, you must be at some higher level of consciousness for lowly me to understand.

 

I agree that there is some level of reverse-racism that happens fairly often in the US. I don't think it is to the degree that you and others here say it is...but it does exist.

And the reason that white people don't yell racism when it happens is because the history of our country shows that 99.9% of the injustices done to someone due to race have been perpetrated against non-whites by whites. You can't really deny that. And so it is only logical that, when confronted with some minor and inconsequential racism against whites, the majority of white people would rather ignore the incident than call racism and start a whole racial confrontation.

I also agree with the point that the fact that some people were saying that the govt's response to Katrina had anything to do with race is rediculous, but I had thought that from the very start. The slow response was due to a couple retards in the WH, not because there are black people in NOLA.

Um, you do realize that the breakdown of deaths from the hurricane has nothing to do with criticism (right or wrong) of handing/coordinating evacuations/aid, support at the Superdome, etc, etc, FOR SURVIVORS.

Probably, but I think hella was being sarcastic with that line and it's not against any rules to be racist/sexist/biggoted. It is against the rules to threaten physical violence...it's not a big deal I just don't want to see this place degenerate into a threat fest like the NASIOC PP.
