Seriously, I've asked these people who lived in Iraw pre-US invasion, and they said it was freedomless but at least safe...

We ruined that country...

They all (about 3 familes from different areas) have all expressed that it was better then than it is now for the average family over there.

Afghanistan used to be a nice country too, but decades of war have turned it into rubble, really... sucks. We've enabled the same for Iraq now. Once we leave, and we will leave soon enough, the terrorist will leave, and the Iraqis will be fighting amongst themselves for power.

That our fault too. We didn't handle the whole splitting german up and stepping on them too well, I mean, why that wouldn't anger an entire country behind a ****ing Austrian midget

We learned out lesson from that for a little while, and helped after WWII and Helped Japan rebuild after we dropped the bombs. now look at them, they are whooping our *** in automotive and electronics, and other tech sectors...

So maybe the lesson from that is it's better to leave a country war torn for good? or maybe it's leaving troops there permanently like in Korea and Quait?

you need to qualify your statements. were they Shia, sunni, turkmen, Syriac, Marsh Arab, or Kurdish?

they all had much different experiences under saddam

seriously, if they are stupid enough to want to go to Iraq to live there under saddam as a Syrian Christian, they deserve the hardship. I'd have left or never gone there.

It's like me as an American man wanting to live in tribal Afghanistan or Pakistan... smart move
