The Whitehouse recalled Brown today from Louisianna. This coming after plans to give out $2000 debit cards to survivors was shot down. The Whitehouse says that Brown is still the head of FEMA, but I think that this may be the beginning of a forced resignation. From the beginning of the releif effort FEMA promised workers and supplies to the hardest hit areas, but everytime I saw the news the head of FEMA said that they were still mobolizing or organising efforts while people were packed outside the convention center in New Orleans starving to death and dying of degydration. And yet, eventhough he was doing a pathetic job, Bush continued to praise Brown. I just don't know why it took the Whitehouse so long to realize that not enough was being done.
