Again, another case of very poor reporting. I can't form an opinion, based solely on this article, as to the issue Mr Savage cites. Which statutes?
To use an allusion, this honestly isn't much less of a logical 'jump' than the Westboro Baptist Church makes when they emphatically state that the military is all gay because a law has been passed forcing military leaders to "don't ask, don't tell."

caveat: I'm not questioning his thesis nor supporting it. Admittedly, I was taken in when I first read it, due to the fact that I've devoted my life to 'upholding and defending the Constitution of the United States', but upon a second reading I felt like I had been taken by a late April Fools' joke.
