Death Penalty Cancelled.

Here's the brilliance in this type of logic (or whatever you call it).

We put a guy away for raping and killing a woman in cold blood but say it's inhumane to execute him for whatever reason... mmmkay...

Then in the very same breath the same group of mother ****ers praise the "found dead or alive" bounty on terrorists?

You could wheel in the pureed remains Osama Bin Laden in tupperware containers and the only question would be if the DNA test comes back with positive identification of the the bloody paste (assuming we have his DNA on file). There would be no mention of inhumane action whatsoever.

The reason the execution was cancelled has nothing to do with the prisoner. It has to do with the fact that the state is asking doctors who have taken the Hypocratic oath to be present for and participate in the excecution of a prisoner...which is against the oath. It brings up all sorts of ethical and moral questions, and needs to be addressed. This particular prisoner just got lucky that this issue is coming to a head over his excecution. I'm positive that once the state figures out the correct protocol (barbituates or the trio, Dr.s or nurses or whoever...maybe specially trained excecution Drs that aren't board certified to treat patients...whatever) this guy will be the first to die. It's not like he's been given clemency or a pardon.
