Cost of the Bush era: $11.5 trillion
"George W. Bush's presidency cost the country about $11.5 trillion, if we estimate liberally."
Liberally being the operative word. I make 2.5 million dollars a year if I estimate liberally. I am in no way trying to pass any blame from the administration but let's be realistic. When was the last time a President was presented with the obstacles Bush was? A massive terrorist attack, the economy ready for a collapse (which we're now experiencing, those things aren't born months before), an energy crisis and a laundry list of other disasters. Granted no one twisted his arm into invading Iraq but the points still stand.
