i think, in terms of how things will shake out, it's much too early to come to any difinitive conclusion on the bush II era.

Liberally being the operative word. I make 2.5 million dollars a year if I estimate liberally. I am in no way trying to pass any blame from the administration but let's be realistic. When was the last time a President was presented with the obstacles Bush was? A massive terrorist attack, the economy ready for a collapse (which we're now experiencing, those things aren't born months before), an energy crisis and a laundry list of other disasters. Granted no one twisted his arm into invading Iraq but the points still stand.

speaking of costs has anybody looked up how much obama's inauguration is gunna cost, even with this economy he is spending a record breaking $150 million, hey that big party is coming out of taxpayers pocket!

yep, they said the most expensive inauguration ever

doubles the last 2 presidental inaugs.

glad to see obama's first act as president is not spending tax payers dollars on uselessness

and i know they are sayign the monay is coming from donations or whatever

but really, ther eis nothing better that that money could go to.

Yup, if he wanted to make a statement he should have made it a smaller and very inexpensive ceremony. Nobody remembers inaugurations anyway.
