I saw the story on this the other night.
I think it's huge. I know that the amount of viewers of this show are more than likely greater than the amount of viewers who actually heed the message.
My initial thought is that if everyone whose car required 87 only used 87, obviously the demand for 'super-test' would diminish greatly. Since we're actually talking about 3 products (regular, mid, and high), I have no idea what vastly lower demand would have on the end price of gasoline.
I'm going to start researching E85.
