Oakland residents held a RALLY for that piece of human garbage?!?!

I cannot believe there is a city where it's residents are that inept and ***-backward.

You want to rally behind a rapist, murderer and overall scum sucker? Go right ahead. But I say this - OPD should shut down for just 1 day. 1 DAY.

I give it 3 hours before the residents start screaming to be helped by the same officers they are snubbing in the face right now in the wake of 3 sergeants and 1 officer.

I hope Johannes Mehserle is found not-guilty. Then we can watch this festering wound of a city destroy itself finally.

They're only doing it because humans are short-sighted enough such that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" seems like a good idea.

 

Mixon is a hero? Do these people know the crimes that have been linked to this guy in their OWN community? Rape to begin with. Protesting should be illegal, you should have to apply for the right to protest a certain cause. If you are denied and you still protest, minimum of 90 days jail time no questions asked. What the hell is wrong with people? A rally for this piece of sh*it is disrespectful, a waste of time, and these people should be ashamed, and more importantly, jailed for being counterproductive members of the community. Oakland does not stand a chance with ****bags like this roaming the streets. My advice to these people, GET A JOB and stop embarrassing yourself.

Here's the address you can send a check to or wire money to the families - I know these are tough times; but really I think everyone can afford $10. Just $10. If half of the Bay Area did that that would be at least something in repayment for their service.

 

Protesting is a vital part of our country. This country was founded on it.

However - I fully believe that rallying behind a murderer and rapist speaks VOLUMES about yourself and your community.

Until they put their own people in the line of fire - I say **** them.

Exactly why these communities will always be these communities.

 

I cant wait to hit the streets of Oakland after this. I was patrolling 35th and MacArthur when a group of kids said "**** the Police" a day after the shooting. Now Mixon is being idolized... I guess I have my work cut out for me.

Please do not take this as a ralliment of LEOs to retaliate.

Be bigger than these inept humans.

Keep doing what you do everyday, keep the peace - if they talk **** about the Sergeants and Officer - simply tell them that they are disrespecting 4 people who sacrificed themselves for their community.

If LEOs retaliate - it just fuels their fire and the cycle keeps going.

These people do, however, need to be reminded just how much they NEED OPD. Without the officers who protect that city - it would have been destroyed years ago.

 

Well, R-Dub, you are in luck, as LEOs can't retaliate, otherwise more protesting, more internal investigation throughout the department, and more LEOs being ostracized while these hoodlums run loose in our city streets. LEOs cannot effectively do their job, which is to protect you and I and the other good citizens, because they are constantly being watched with skepticism, and people just look for something to complain about so they can point fingers.

 

Also, what is going to happen when OPD goes to the memorial? Oakland is going to explode with these morons. They shouldn't have announced this. Although, I doubt the people causing this trouble keep up on current events.
