Bareback Mountain, Gay Cowboys, fake awards to generate publicity

http://movies.yahoo.com/mv/news/ap/2...449266000.html

So, nobody goes to see this movie about gay cowboys, and now it's getting all kinds of "nods" and awards to generate publicity!?

It's amazing how far people will bend over to gain acceptance by the gay mafia.

This really is wally world!

How well did this movie actually do?

Even if it was a decent movie based on the Golden Globe criteria, there's no denying that major awards often have political agendas even if it’s not displayed right on the surface.

Just like Nobel Prize nomination for Tookie (sorry to drag him back into this). Let's give the nomination to a man that writes children's books when there’s countless others worthy of the nomination. One of the only children’s book authors (and author in general) to ever slap his 2” milli-vanilli, Rastafarian grill portrait on the cover of his books just to instill further recognition or act as some half-assed apology. Yay!

Never mind the fact he’s a convicted murderer who started one of the most notorious gangs responsible for widespread inner-city violence across the country since the 70's! Can’t you see he deserves it! *sigh*

...lets be clear that nominations are different than awards...Hitler was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, but clearly never won...

Not very much… If you're a nominee that means you are/were worthy of the award.

Hitler was nominated in 1939 which was followed by a swift and silent retraction as his true colors began to shine. The newer trend is to wait until they’ve become controversial, felons, or both before considering nomination.

7.9 stars on IMDB. Pretty respectable.

Also opened with a record per-screen average of $109,000

How you can be so afraid of the gay community like you are is hard to fathom.

They are people that deserve the exact same rights and priveledges that you and I take for granted everyday. Why people feel the need to limit someone else based on sexual orientation is beyond me. Let it go man because as time goes by there is only going to be more acceptance.
