So, are not all of your posts not a reflection of yourself as a person? Should we just ignore you only when you sound like a dumbass? You seem to be entertained by pissing people off over the internet- I did this in chat rooms when I was eleven or twelve, and I know it is somewhat entertaining. I guess now I realize that it's quite immature, and I definitely can't afford to waste such time and effort in such an unproductive manner.

DR3- sorry for responding to posts made toward you- I know you are very capable of speaking for yourself- and I am speaking only for myself- I simply share your difficulty in putting up with this kind of crap.

 

Why yes, they absolutely are. While I'm a self proclaimed nice guy, I do have strong political opinions like others in this forum. I happen to be a sarcastic S.O.B., too. I think most people on here know I don't expect you to wash my feet because Bush won and because you are dirty liberals. Hell, liberals are some of the cleanest people I've ever seen.

I participated for quite a while in the Suby forums before finding these political gems, and I was somewhat shocked at what I saw. Nasioc and I-club were dominated by people with strong opinions other than my own. People were either outright rude or condescending in their comments. I fit in just fine.

I found the political forums to be quite stimulating, disturbing, and sometimes funny. I also found that people respond when you provoke them, and people ignore you if you don't "wave your hands and scream." I don't really think I've ever said or done anything that shocking, at least compared to Dr3's post towards me tonight. Even though he hates my style, I guarantee I've made him laugh a few times. Common, he's accusing me of leaving turds in his pool =).

I think I bring up a lot of things people truly feel but are afraid to say.
You can ignore me if you want to avoid getting riled, but what kind of life would that be?

 

I think Dre is overreacting big time. Helladumb made an *** of himself when this forum first opened, but he has been very well behaved of late. Posting dissenting opinions should be allowed. Maybe I am missing something but I have not seen him making ad hominem arguments or using profanity or doing anything other than stating his views and criticising political and media entities. However some others have been making profane personal remarks to him constantly and you moderators don't take any action. There is a double standard at work here, and it is basically Dre and his liberal buddies get one set of rules, and Helladumb gets another set of rules. If you ban him, I'm gone too FWIW. If I'm wrong please direct me at the posts I missed.

 

He's just pissy that Bush got another 4 years.
