Anyone watching the State of the Union Address?

Did anyone else see how pissed off Sofia Al-Suhail was? She gave Bush the finger in front of everyone! What nerve!

As far as I'm concerned this is all moot. The Black Panther party turned out in record lows to vote this past election, arguing that American politics are evil, and there is no way you can say this president is legitimate as long as the Black Panther party has not voted.

Didn't bother watching it...I didn't need to suffer anymore while dealing with the flu.
I'd like to be able to put some of my SSI tax into a "private/personnal" account, but with the Socialists screeming that they know what's best for me, I doubt it'll happen.
Bush is insane if he pushes for Illegal Alien Amnesty Lite.
More proof that he's as conservative psoper.

I hear you guys.

I basically started this thread as a joke towards Psoper.

Sofia Al-Suhail was actually extremely grateful for Bush an the chance she got to vote. I believe they brought her over from Iraq (she may have been an expatriate). She started crying in the front row as Bush explained how Saddam's Regime assassinated her father. She raised her index finger she used at the polls and the crowd roared. It was an emotional speech.

And then she and a woman whose son died in combat embraced. It was a pretty powerful moment. At least there is a glimmer of hope for Iraq now!

I thought Iraq was a very progress country compared to the rest of the middle east and that women had many rights under Saddam and got to "vote"? I could be wrong though this medicine is screwing with me badly.

Not the case and everyone had to vote for Saddam. Islam + Women’s Rights = False by default. Add in a Ruthless dictator, regime and other discriminating factors and it became that much worse.
