Unhappy Front coilover rattling problem...please help

Good day everyone,

I've been having a problem with a rattling noise coming from my L/F coilover. I have turned it in for service when I had my boot replaced and asked them to check out my coilovers as well. It was fixed for about a week, but now the same rattling noise you hear when you go over bumps, or even when I shift gears during hard acceleration.

Will anyone be kind enough to give me insights or tips on how to fix this problem myself?

Thanks in advance guys!

-Chris

What coilovers are they?

What was the original fix to the rattle?

Have you inspected the area to see what's causing it?

He said something about needing more lube....rubber pieces on top of the strut dried out causing it to hit the metal pieces. I mean if he lubricated it two weeks ago, it shouldnt come back as soon, right? Imma loosen and reinstall it, hopefully it will just be the loose nut underneath the damper. Thanks man.

Btw...they are Apex-I N1's.
