I am looking for a brake upgrade so I was wondering what wrx front brake parts were needed for the cross over? Or is this even a good upgrade? thanks.

 

This is one of the best bang for the buck upgrades out there.

All you would need to complete the upgrade is 02 WRX caliper brackets and rotors. You could also use the 03 WRX brackets(which are different but will work with your calipers) but you would also need 03 pads too, as your pads are not compatible with the 03 brackets. Est cost using oem brackets and rotors $210 + shipping.

This upgrade should be coupled with a rear upgrade as well to not only maintain proper f to r bias, but marginally improve it. Again for this upgrade all you would need is the brackets and rotors from a 2000+ Legacy. A lot of people call this the "H6" upgrade. Again the cost should be about $210 + shipping.
