I found some post said that it won't fit, but how about swapping the full shocks assembly, will it fit? or there is no way to put 05 sti supension on 04 sti?

mr2turbosw20: the 05 STi struts will not fit the 04 STi - because of the brackets at the bottom are different. The stock exhaust will mate to helix dp, however, it's a good idea to get an exhaust with a 3" flange to mate to the helix 3" flange dp.

Onizuka - thanks for your reply, i am going back to stock, but don't want the hassle to put the stock cat back, so i try to put just the stock exhaust back

as for the 05 strut, is there any way i can do it? how about swapping the full suspension with the housing or what do i need to get it fit?

The rear will fit fine
Its the fronts that you will have a problem
I think it had to do with the ears.
If you plan on a hub conversion (like I did) the 05 will then fit
