Will 02 RSB's fit on 04's?

I've heard that adjustable RSB's for 02/03's won't work on 04's. Something about the bushing or mount size of the 04's being to small. If I'm not upgrading endlinks yet will the 02/03 adjustable sway bar (for example Whiteline) fit on my 04?

it should fit, I know that the 04 has improved mounts but the bar is the same so I believe your upgrade should work.

the bushing inside the mount is different so if the rsb comes with its own bushings, you're going to need ones for the 04 model. i don't know whether aftermarket bars do, i'm assuming they would because they're all slightly different diameters. if you use an 02 20mm stock bar in an 04, you just need to get STi bushings which have a 20mm cutout.

I don't doubt you but if the rsb comes with it's own bushings that fit that particular bar why would I have to get new ones. BTW the one I'm loking at is an adjustable whiteline 22-24mm and comes with the yellow bushings.

to clarify, the shape of the bushing is different and the thus the metal bracket (mount) that comes in contact with it is different. the bar will come with 02-03 shaped bushings when you need a 04 shaped bushing. that's all i mean when i say make sure it has the right bushings.
