when do you rotate your tires?

i have 8k miles on my 03 wrx and havent rotated them yet because i have no time. am i ok?

Haha. I should rotate them a little sooner than I do. My fronts have some visible wear, the rears don't. Yes, my car understeers- it's a Subaru and I don't drift. Anwyays.

Try every 5-7k if you can manage it, or just keep an eye on your front-to-rear wear ratio.

You're a bit overdue but no worries just check for wear until you find some time during an oil change or something.

remember FR goes to RR

and FL goes to RL

why not cross rotate? the stock tires arent directional.

5k miles religiously.........for optimum tire and suspension life balance them as well.

i rotate them every 6 months along with changing my oil. simple to rememeber. then again i drive about 5k during this period.

i suppose you could with non-directional tires but it's really not necessary with a AWD car. Plus it's a lot easier to the other way

Rotate every 3k miles or at most 3.5k miles if you have increased front negative camber, or you've lowered your car and haven't corrected the excessive rear negative camber that ensues...

actually i'm a college student. i go to UH and work at the Blaisdell sometimes.

Although i do like driving the car. Just paying for gas isn't as fun

every 3k seems very quick. i get that within 2 months too. i commute to school nearly every day. 30-40 miles one way each time.
i think ive got about 6k since my last rotation.
