What pads do you guys use at the track?
I'm an Audi guy and getting ready to do some road courses this year. What pads have you tried? I'm using Pagid Oranges right now and they work awesome (when it's warm). I tried the mintex reds and on the street, they coated my rotors with so many deposits, it felt like the rotors were warped.
Thanks.
By the way, my front calipers and rotors are off of a '96 Porsche Twin Turbo (Brembo 4 piston)
Thanks.

Call up StopTech and see what their recommendations are. I know that they have a wide variety of pads that would probably suit your needs.

I have friends in the Porsche club, and therefore go to many of their events. Pagid orange seems to be their pad of choice. In fact, I am trying to get them for the stock WRX brakes. I understand they are available in Europe, but have had trouble finding them here.
Pads I have used with the stock WRX caliper/rotors are Porterfield R4S, which I liked, Carbotech Panther + which held up to heat better and had very good stopping grip, and my last set was the Carbotech Panther XP, which have a higher heat range. I really liked them, as they seems to hold up to heat and resist fading longer. However, they are a little hard on rotors, and put a ton of dust on your wheels. However, I will probably stick with them, as I like their performance.
Note-my criteria is high heat range, and resistance to fading. I do many track events and after a 20 minute session, even the best pads are fading. I hope to figure out some cooling/ducting setup to help this.
