want to lower car, trying to keep ride feel stock

i thnk my car's hieght is way to high and i want to lower it now... i was thinkin about gettin the tien s-techs but i heard that it kills your shocks reallly bad, i just want a clean ride drop but still trying to keep the stock feel of the ride. i dont think im going to get coilovers but i know i'll eventually get shocks too. can anyone help me decide on which springs to get that would work real great with my stock struts? and can anyone else tell me what struts i should get with what springs? i drive an 04 wrx and the car needs to be lowered

i wouldn't recommend eibach's, the ride was bad in my friend's lexus, he hates it, as he has to stop on some areas of the road. i don't know anyone with it on a rex though. i got s-techs on my04 wagon, and love them. my 2cents...

if the s-techs are too stiff for you, you can go with the softer h-techs

I have the h-techs and i love em. I have snow here so when i put my stockers on it does not sit too low. When i have my 17's on it looks good. It handles sooo much better than it did. I then got a Cusco RSB and now it handles great. I have 10k on the htechs on stock struts and i am still going strong. I will get KYB AGX when the stockers go. BTW the stock struts are made bt KYB. I do not track my car. They are a good buy IMO and they went on pretty easy. BTW i also have an 04'. Good luck.

save your money and get coilovers or buy some Tein s-tech springs and some new shocks. Tein, I think, makes some of the best springs and has a feel that is closer to stock then most. they also lower the car a tad bit more then eibach

We put a set of prodrive springs on a customers new 05 the other day and it road really nice and was a decent drop. If ride quality os foremost on your mind i would consider the prodrive for sure

Eibachs are different on every car. The Impreza eibach ProKit works well and has a decent ride.
