wagon suspension?
so i want coilovers. i understand that:
sedan front springs differ from wagon front springs
sedan struts(all) differ from wagon struts(all)
sedan rear springs differ from wagon rear springs
correct me if im wrong.
i also understand that most aftermarket co. dont make wagon specific springs, but im looking at coilovers, does that affect the camber significantly. i also understand that most coilovers come with adjustable front strut/camber plates. so what should i be looking into for my 2002 wagon?
i wanted the tien type wagon coilovers but also understand they are discontinued. so will the tien basics be okay?
thankx

i have Tein Flex coilovers on my 04 Wagon. Camber was affected because the car was lowered, but i'm sure it had nothing to do with the coilovers not being wagon specific. Any tein set up for the sedan will work for the wagon, it all depends on what you want. Flex Coilovers are pretty frickin stiff but i dont mind, plus you can get the EDFC with it for an extra ~$300.
here's a pic of my car with my suspension:

Car Info: sold 2012 wrx sedan (sold 02 WRX wagon)
For the '02 WRX the stock front springs are the same for the sedan and wagon, 163 in/lbs. The stock rear springs for the sedan are 119 in/lbs for 5speed and 132in/lbs for 4eat. The wagon rear springs are 132 in/lbs for the 5speed and 144 in/lbs for the 4eat. The 5speed wagon uses the same rear springs as the 4eat sedan.

All you need to do is decide which coilovers you want/can afford. Research them. Ask people who have them what they think. It's up to you and what you want them for...

Search out your answers There are a ton of threads regarding coilovers/suspension and wagons.
Your camber is effected but that is why you go and get an alignment after the install. Some coilovers have front and rear camber plates as well. Which makes it really easy to adjust on the wagon compaired to the sedan.
From my experiance with the Tein HA (which they don't make anymore) was not good. But there are plenty of others with Teins (other models) who love them. They make an ok coilover for the price.
