Tuning Strut Bar Settings
I just got a Whiteline Flatout front strut bar, and it came with quite a few options for "dialing it in" -- each end has a threaded head for the strut ring, and a set bolt, as well as a bolt through at a 90-degree angle. In addition, the actual mounting holes in the brackets are not round, but oval, giving you room to adjust in this fashion also.
I've read that you should not pre-load the front strut bar, and just slightly pre-load the rear strut bar, but I've also found several articles that say just the opposite and none that apply to a bar with so many adjustment points. Is there any general advice for tuning it properly? Preload or no preload? How much to tighten the actual strut top bolts (torque) and should I use some anti-sieze when installing?

Hmm, there are a lot of smart people and "experts" on these boards, and not one of you has ever wondered what those adjustment points for your strut bar are for?
