Question true lowering spring drop heights...

are the advertised drop numbers really consistent? i'm just curious what people have experienced with their lowering springs after they've given a chance for the suspension to settle. from reading threads in this forum, it looks like tein s-techs give the most dramatic drop for 02-03's. is this pretty much true? everyone post your numbers/pics if you've measured them. thanks

i dont recall ever seeing stechs in person, but i have had eibachs in the past, pretty conservative IMHO.
usually, most people like prodrives, eibachs, or if you really want to go pretty low, the rsr's are nice too.

Why are the s-tech's a bad idea? I have some on my 02 WRX. I think the only hit against them is that they are green. Not like you can really see them anyways. I'm getting some noise when I turn, but I believe its more a top hat thing than the spring. I would like to hear your view on them. Did they not do too well for you?
