Post Tip on installing Helix Endlinks on 05 STi

I'm not sure if it's the same for the 04 (maybe someone else can verify this), but the 05 stock endlinks use a pillowball bolt for attaching the endlink to the arm and the sway bar which cannot be reused. You need to purchase new bolts to use since the endlinks don't come with them. I picked up some 10mm diameter 60mm length fine thread bolts. The size was PERFECT for attaching to the arm, and just a little long for the sway bar, but works.

When I noticed you couldn't use the stock ones, I did a search and didn't find anything, and figured I wouldn't be the last to have this question.

Mucho gracias to Gruppe-S for taking care of me once again. Those guys mohfuggin rock!

Hmm, I'd like some more info on this also. Is it different for 04 STi? I just assumed we reuse the bolts since the perrin endlinks I bought don't come with them.

Turns out on the STi, at least the 05, you have to purchase new bolts.
