TEIN springs vs Eibach?

i was wondering the same thing, i just purchased the eibachs because they have a lower spring rate than the tein's plus not as much of a drop, so i figure the stock shocks would last longest, plus the car would be less out of alignment than with the teins. BTW somewhere in here there is a pic of a WRX with eibach's. Maybe the gallery forum?

I can't remember the model name, but there a new Tein WRX spring out. (At least that's what the guys @ Vivid told me when I was explaining what I was looking for) It's a progressive rate spring, very conservative lowering - only 1" or so in the front, .8" in the rear.
I've only got the fronts on right now - I was unable to get the rear lower stut mount bolt broken last night (That thing's in a b**ch of a spot!) - so I can't really comment on the spring so far. What I can tell from the fronts only on is there there's still about a 2 - 2 1/2 finger gap on the fronts. Given this relatively mild drop, I don't think these particular Tein's will cause too much stress or wear on the stock struts. Don't get me wrong - upgrading the struts to some nice Koni's or STi struts would really compliment the springs!
There is definitely a noticeable difference in road feel & body roll/lean. Feedback on road imperfections is much better & I notice less nose dive under braking. I'm getting the rears done on Friday evening & new wheels/tires then too. On Saturday, I'm doing a 270 mile treasure hunt/rally, so I'll try to post some feedback on Sunday for the Teins....
