Tein S. tech springs

hey all i just want to get your opinion on Tein S tech spring. i was planning on goin full coilover but i was reading thru the threads here it sounds like its not really necessary if your not gonna track or auto x your car so i decided to just go for springs just for now and just for dd so what do you think?

They are too low to handle well, and won't work well with any strut available. You will be on the bumpstops at rest....before you even hit a bump. Suspension travel is crucial on these cars, so if you have none, then you have handling and ride quality issues and your struts won't last long.

If you just want them for show and don't mind the handling, then go for it. The S in S-tech stands for Style. Just so you know that going in. For some people, that's all that matters and that's up to them.

No. You lose so much strut travel with that much drop that you will be sacrificing ride quality no matter what.

so what spring or coilovers are good and how many inches is the safe zone for drop? im willing to spend 1k but can go just a tiny bit over that for coilovers or spring + shock combination..

Tein H-Tech, Swift Sport Springs, Swift Sport Spec-R, Cobb Springs, and more but just listing ones off my head but if your budget is a little over 1,000 go grab yourself a set of Stance Gr+ or Tein Flex

If you really just want a drop, Swifts are good springs. Cut your bumpstops or replace them.

do coilovers if u want to slam ur car...

its just worth the money in the end.. u wont have to deal with getting new struts, and coilovers handle incredibly well..

Just put swifts on mine. Got a nice 1.3 all around. Nive level drop, not too agressive, but real clean look. Very comfortable ride as well.
