Unhappy Tein Flex EDFC Probs.

I was wondering if anybody has had any problems with the EDFC. In July i had the suspension with the controller put in professionally. A few months later an error code showed up on the controller which pointed at the front right side of the car. After taking it in to have it checked, it seems the wire for the front right got wrapped around the stepping motor. They fixed the problem in about 10 minutes.

However i have the same problem again a few months later. I've looked under the hood and the wire for the front right is wrapped around again.

How do you like the performance of the EDFC aside from the wire wrapping problem? I assume that you have the Type Flex, so correct me if I'm wrong.

The performance of it is great. As far as handling, this is the only modification i have done (still on stock wheels). This is actually my first coilover set i have ever ridden in.

It's hard to describe but it just feels snappier when turning the steering wheel. Swithcing lanes to pass a car is so smooth. I'm guessing the realignment they did when installing the coilovers may also have something to do with the quick response i get from turning the steering wheel.

The different settings of hard and soft are just something you get used to. I was pretty hesitant when it came to having an uncomfortable ride. But most of the time i leave the setting on hard. As a passenger, they will notice that you did something to your suspension (even if settings are soft).

Can't wait to slap some better wheels on this thing.

Wrapping

The only time I've had the wires "wrap", was when I was adjusting the height of the shocks. Easiest just to pull the connections and then re-attach when done. Other than that, no problems.
