Yes. Because they both make big improvements over stock.

Just did what you are asking about...

Just bought and installed:

Espelir ASD Springs 1.4"Front/.8" Rear Drop, spring rate similar to STI Pinks

Perrin Rear Sway Bar (Heavy Duty Mounts included) and Endlinks...

Changed out the Sway Bar and Endlinks first...on the softer of two settings (04 STI)...huge difference...pretty neutral feel in the corners...no more understeer...set it on stiff and all I can say is WOW! Next I had the springs installed by Ryan at Vakamon motorsports here in Hawaii...there was another huge difference...Now I say difference and not "better" because many on this board have very strict definitions to what their "better" is...

For me, I like my new setup...predictable handling...not too stiff...but then again, I am in the process of buying a set of Tein Type Flex and EDFC from a fellow I-Clubber...it's the natural progression...springs...coilovers...$$$$$$

Go with the sway bars first...Springs wont make as big as a difference. It would be even worse if you install the springs on stock struts...Youll be lucky if you get a year with them before the struts die...

Like he said.. only springs do you no good and will kill the stock struts. if you can afford it save up for coilovers if you really want handling.. coil over itself will be way better than sway and springs put together. I use to have KYB and springs and they are no where close to my coilovers now..

It really depends on the springs you decide to go with. Some kill the stock struts faster than others. I know people on stock struts and Prodrive springs going 20,000+ miles

Not everyone has the money to afford coilovers. An aftermarket spring/strut combo is a more economical way to go. Besides, those of us with kids can really be running around on hard coilovers.
