Exclamation Struts/Springs/Coilovers?

i have an 01 RS and am looking into the eibach spt springs and agx struts...is it true that id have to take the agx struts off the car in order to adjust their settings or not? also how would this combination compare to just getting some coil overs for around the same price? Thanks

PS - also whats are the advantages and disadvantages of having coilovers?

Advantages: Adjustability

Disadvantages : Adjustability (to many settings, which one do I pick syndrome) and having to take them apart to rebuild.

Car Info: always changing...
I have a 2000 RS

and am considering a very similar setup... only using the KYB AGX Adjustable Struts/Shocks set... it says that you can adjust these without taking them off...
