Sti transvers install, can't get the ball joint off.

Got everything apart, but I just can't seem to get the ball joint off. The FSM says 'Extract ball joint' They make it sound so easy.

Any hints. I've tried beating the lower arm to death. I've seen it move a little, so I don't think its seized, but if some PB blaster or something would help I'm willing.

Thanks,
Jason

I'm trying to get the ball joint out of the knuckle. Would that still work? I have a smaller one of those, I think I'd need to pickup something with a little larger opening than what I have.

Can't just unbolt it and just pull it apart?
