Car Info: '04 STi
is it the same as an '04, i think it is if so
after you have the wheel off, take out the rear seat while you are not all dirty and sweaty yet, take the brake line off of the strut, i used a little screwdriver to slide the clip out
then take out the two 17mm bolts that hold the strut to the rest of the susp. then take out the 3 12mm behind the seat holding the top in, it should then fall out, to take out the hat and the spring, i usually leave the top in the car to hold the strut and crack loose the top strut nut ( not sure what its called but its the nut that is at the end of the strut)
then take out the strut and take off that top nut,
