steering feels loose

What can you do to fix the steering from feeling loose all the time. When I go around a high speed turn the steering wheel moves left to right, barely, but it is so sensitive it can cause me to swerve. On my bike I have a steering dampner to help with this but what can be done to the wrx to tighten the steering input.

ok after some research I see that people install bushings for the steering rack to help. does anyone have pictures of this, where to source the parts? Are they just urethane instead of rubber. Any compromise with going this route?

ScoobyMods.com steering rack bushings installation.

Whiteline steering rack bushings from MPJ Performance. This is a pretty good price from MPJ. Check around with other vendors, too. I paid about $40 a while back.

As other threads will indicate, there are no downsides to installation of these bushings. No noticeable increase in NVH.
