My cousin installed SPT springs w/ stock struts on his WRX and they work well together. SPT springs are manufactured by Eibach for Subaru. Here's a link to their website: http://www.subaru.com/microsites/spt/main.jsp

I just purchased Tein S-Tech springs. I love them. The front and the rear are even with each other unlike some springs and the ride is pretty good too. Just my 2 cents.

I got my Teins off Ebay, brand new for $160 shipping included! They are actually really easy to install yourself. My friend has a shop so we did it there and it only took a couple of hours. My advice to you would be save the $100+ on installation if you can and get a group of friends over to install them yourself. Just make sure you have a spring compressor.
