Thumbs up Spring/strut questions for 04 Wagon

I just bought my Wagon. I know this has probably been posted before but I could not find the exact answer I was looking for. I want to get adjustable shocks, Is anyone on here running the KYB AGX's on their wagon and do they fit? 2) Do they make the V7 or V8 struts adjustable? 3) and can anyone help out with some pics or give some feed back on Eibach prokit vs. Prodrive springs. I want a clean drop with out the saggy but thing but I want a decent ride that can handle. Thank you very much for your time and your help.

What do you mean by "adjustable"? Just compression/damping or height and such as well?

I had some Tein Flex on my wagon and the handling was amazing.

I have an 04 wagon as well. I am ordering KYB AGX struts this week, and still deciding on what springs to get. The Eibach springs drop lower then the prodrives, and the prodrives are lower then the usdm sti pinks.

Cool prodrive

ive got the prodrive springs, no saggy butt syndrome, just a slick amout of drop...how subaru should have done it. springs respond well to hard driving with the stock struts. ride is firm but not knocking my teeth out. recently put 18's on with 40 series tire and love the way it rides. this coming from somone who had the P1 set up on my GC8 which, if anyone knows is bone jarring and super sick. go for the prodrives and good tire and wheel conmb

There are no 04 specific KYBs. On a WRX you have to get the 02/03 WRX struts for the rear, and 01 GC struts for the front.

I got mine at www.cvrmotorsports.com tell them Matt in San Jose sent you.

The '02-'03 KYB's (GR-2's or AGX) will work with '04-'05 tophats. You will need spacers to keep springs tight in perches (the threads on the struts stop a bit short ~ eat this space with washer/s). Yes, KYB does make wagon specific shocks...use them. The sedan has a wider track and the struts are different.

A very good combo (and affordable is KYB GR-2 ~ non adjustable ~ $298 on www.SlowboyRacing.com) and Swift wagon specific springs www.mann-engineering.com. You will get about 1.2 inch drop in front and about .8 inch drop in rear.

Cheers!
