RS calipers on my L??? Will it work?
K guys, I have tried new pads, calipers and rotors and my 1-pot front brakes just still suck and stopping me. BTW, I have 17s on my car. A few questions:
1) Are RS calipers 2-piston
2) Will they bolt up to my Impreza L
3) Do I have to upgrade my rotors
4) If these are yes answers, does anyone have any calipers and/or rotors for cheap to sell??
Thanks in advance guys,
Cody

You can check www.subaruparts.com to see if the parts match. I'm at work and don't have my files.

Yes, yes, yes, and sometimes. If you can't find the parts secondhand www.subaruwrxparts.com has good prices on them.

You must have RS rotors, calipers, caliper brackets and pads for it to work. If you want, you can also just go straight to WRX rotors... With that, you can use the RS calipers OR WRX calipers, with the WRX rotors, WRX caliper brackets, and WRX pads...
Just so you know:
99-02 Imprezas have the same caliper (CT721- pads)
03-04 are CT929
This gives you wide range. If you want i'd just go with the 11.4" WRX rotors, since those are nice and big.
~$100 for the rotors
~$100 for the brackets
~$50-$100 for the calipers used here on the site or nasioc
$50 for some Axxis Ultimates
~$350
however while you're at it, might as well upgrade to stainless lines up front (i'm assuming you have drums brakes in the rear, and some nice fluid like Ate Super Blue or Motul RBF 600)

they fit the 15 steel wheels on the OBS but the brakes that are in your 14s are about as big as can fit so i think that is a no they are just too big
