Rotors: Cobb or RacingBrake HP?

Rotors: Cobb, Stoptech, or RacingBrake HP?
These are replacements tor warped OEM WRX rotors.
Cobb's are cryogenically treated.

If you're ever hard on youir brakes, definitely avoid cross-drilled. They are for show cars. I have the Stoptech slotted rotors front and rear, and I won't be switching unless I get a BBK.
Ive got the racingbrake slotted ones on my car. they're definently quality. I dont really beat the HELL out of my brakes or anything cuz i dont auto-x or anything like that, but i feel they're pretty good brakes, they stop really well. all i did was get metalmaster pads, didnt do stainless lines or upgrade fluid or anything, so with those im sure you could sqeeze even more stopping power out of em
We routinely race at road race courses here in the Northeast with the RacingBrake rotors. We've used both the CG Track ones and the Street ones. The Street ones will work best with Hawk HPS pads and are good for Street/Auto-x use. For Track events the CG Track rotors are your best bet. I have them on both my Impreza Race Car that we run at NASA and EMRA races. So far we've done 10+ track days on them with HP+ pads and no issues. I can do endos with the car. On my 94 Legacy Turbo I run the RacingBrake 4-pot calipers in the front with the Racing brake CG Track Rotors, very very happy with them. For track I put on HP+ pads, in the winter I run HPS pads on the Legacy.

All,
I have 35,000 miles on stock pads and have heard huge variations on brake pad life. I have have had no problems with the brakes and hear no squeeling. Is this long life unusual? I even have about 10 autocrosses on these pads.
I figure it is time for an upgrade anyway...anyone have any experience with Hawk HPS Street pads? Any comparisons between the Hawks and Axxis Ultimates? I see on mpjperformance that there is are nice upgrade kits: lines, pads and fluid...one offers stoptech lines and Axxis pads while the other offers Goodridge lines and Hawk HPS pads. The second is $50 more...any thoughts?

I've installed the Hawk HPS on two different friends' wrx, both times with the Racing Brakes slotted rotors, Motul Fluid, and Goodridge SS lines.
These pads and rotors work very well for aggressive street use, and I would definately recommend them. Both times installs were combined with Motul fluid, which I would also suggest bleeding in at the same time as upgrading your pads and rotors, and it would be even better to install SS lines as well.
Make sure to follow the pad break-in procedures properly, its very important when replacing pads and rotors. It's listed on the outside of the box of the Hawks.

SedonaRed- the Hawk HPS pads are low dust & low noise compared to the Axxis Ultimates. Granted, IMHO the Axxis Ultimates have a better initial bite, both the Hawks HPS and the Axxis Pads are fairly equal. The price difference is the premium you have to pay for a lower dusting and less noisy pad.

Here's another solution. I was one of the first to get cryo-treated stock rotors from Diversified Cryogenics back in 2002. Since then they have a sister company called frozen rotors that you can buy direct Front rotors for $115.80 and Rear rotors for $105.40. Both are none Slotted. I'm sure you can ask then to slot for a small fee. My setup has Carbotech Bobcats front and back and slotted. 56K and no warping. For the track I throw on a new set and Panther+ on all four corners. Excellent results for the $. Cryotreating has been a racers secret for awhile; thus proven technology.
