Review: Super Pro Steering Rack Bushings

Part: Super Pro Steering Rack Bushings
Car: 2002 WRX Sedan
Other mods: none
Review Date: December 26, 2005
Recommend? yes |
Price paid: $17.99 |
Rating: 10

Pros: steering response, price
Cons: installation

they are a nice subtle improvement for the car's sloppy factory steering response. for less than $20, it's an upgrade everybody should do. not particularly noticeable at low speed turns but quite noticable at higher speed turns like on on-ramps and curvy freeways.

install should theoretically take like 5 minutes but took me and a friend about two hours due to the fact that there's alot of things in the way.

gets a 10/10 due to it's great bang for the buck and the installation difficulty was due to subaru's poor power steering line placement, not the SuperPro product itself.

Ya, I had the same experience putting in whiteline steering rack bushings. Passenger side was easy, but the drivers side was a PITA.

That's a great price if the quality of the Super Pro bushings are equivalent or better than the Whitelines. I see you've posted in i-Club's review, section too, thanks much.

Who makes Whiteline? I thought super pro did or some other company? Whitelines just cost an extra 15 bucks for the name. I have the whitelines and they are a great upgrade over the stock ones. I'll say once you buy bushings you can't stop. They make your car respond so much better.
