i'm pretty sure that just about every company making rear strut bars for the WRX makes one that would fit your wagon. i think whiteline even makes one that will let you put the covers back on over the towers so that the only thing showing is the bar. i recall reading about one guy who carried the sockets to remove the middle portion of the bar, so that he could pull it out if he had something big to throw in the back.

I have the Whiteline rear strut bar and yes, it does allow for the cosmetic covers to be re-installed so all you see is the bar.

I also carry the proper tool to remove the bar in case I need to fold the seats down to carry something big, removing the bar only takes 5 min.

I put this bar on after installing a 20mm sedan rear swaybar on my 03 wagon and each one alone isn't that noticeable, but together they make a really nice improvement in handling.

I have the cusco bar, and no problems with its fit, and anything. And i do have to agree with slvrwgn that together they make a very big difference, the strut/sway bar together.

okay, i already have the rear swaybar, so if i were to add the strut bar (and yes i do have a wagon), what do you think i would notice? just more oversteer?

I wouldn't say more oversteer, I would say more nuetral. It makes the wagon feel alot more balanced through turns as well as keeping it a bit flatter.

i've heard the lower arm braces are a total waste of money for our cars. the cusco ones that is.

the ALKs on the other hand, i've heard (and felt for myself) are cash money.

I've got the cusco version 2 bar and love what its done to the car. I guess its all on the driver. Different feelings on what works for them. Think the same is said for the front STB also but to each his own.

Are you pleased with the rear c/f strut bar's performance? I love the look of c/f and I was wondering if it would perform just as well if not better.

The bar improves the feeling of the wagon while cornering. It doesnt feel all that loose as stock. This was before coilovers tho.

Front strut bars have very little effect, but rear ones, especially in wagons, help to stiffen things up. Even in my GM6 I noticed that the rear bar removed a little creaking noise I had in my rear window when on uneven surfaces like driveways. The wagon has even less structure in that area.
