Rear Endlink snapped
Is the car safe to drive like this? I heard a knocking noise coming from the rear of my car last night on left turns. This morning I look under my car and notice the passanger rear endlink snapped in half. I figure I need to order new ones, but until then is the car safe to drive very gently? or should I not drive the car until this is fixed?

I ordered the Cobb Rear endlinks. I figured I might as well go with an upgrade since I'm having to replace them anyways. Will I need an alignment after this? I also took another look at them and I think the sway bar flipped around? I dunno, but it just doesn't seem to be sitting right.

I honestly have no idea how they broke. Here is a picture showing the damage. Sorry the quality sucks, but I don't have a camera so I had to use my phone.

get some new endlinks and you'll be set, take it easy on the car...
you'll learn to appreciate sway bars after you've driven the car for a few days without one...

The bar is definitely in the wrong place. It has "rolled over". When you put the new links on, be sure you pull the bar back down.
+1 for just removing the sway for the time being until new endlinks arrive; just drive carefully and no quick steering inputs.

yea I figured out that the bar had rolled over and the car hasn't been driven since Saturday. Been driving another car this week. New Cobb Endlinks will be here tomorrow so everything should be taken care of then. Thanks for the tips!

I installed the new endlinks this afternoon. Took about 20-30 minutes, very easy and car is driving great. The ride feels a bit more solid I think unless its just the fact I have been driving a luxury car the last few days so I've gotten used to comfort haha
