i have 98 impreza using the Progress spring. it is similar to Eibach, but i felt progress is better. great handling and appearance, but the drop maybe to lowing a little bit. (approximate 1.8in drop front and rear). that is very well engineered for comfortable when you drive.

If it drops the front and rear 1.8" you will still have more of a gap in the front than the rear and you will not be able to use factory struts. Im not positive on this but I dont think KYB's will work well with 1.8' drop. Eibach is a great spring, I have SPT springs that are made by Eibach, they drop the front 1.4" and the rear 1,2" and there is still a slightly larger gap in the front than the rear. I know nothing about Progress springs but I do know you should make sure they will work well with the struts you plan on buying. Try to think of any other suspension mods you may want in the future because haveing a spring that drops the car too much may limit your options in the future.

they say they drop 1.8 in the front and like 1.5 or somthing in the rear so it eliminates some of the "higher in the front" problem.

What strut do you plan on useing with them? Im prety sure the KYB AGX is not warranteed for a car that is dropped over 1.5".

i could care less about a warrenty. but anyway, im using stock till i can get either some Koni's or adjustable KYB's. im trying to hold out until prodrive releases that "active" coil-over system.

I've been running progress springs on stock stuts for a little over 10k and don't have much to complain about. These have lower springs rates than others but better than stock which is fine by me...stock stuts and stock wheels and I don't autox anyway so in the grand scheme of things it all works out. The ride is still comfortable..this coming from feedback from passengers. There is some bounce around corners and bumps, though i figure that's what you get with stock stuts. The gap is definitely eliminated from the stock look. Only complaint is that the 1.8 drop in the front is sometimes problematic in the streets of SF, having to slow down over speed bumps so as not to scrape. I have a TXS TBE and the flanges connecting the downpipe to the race pipe scrapes sometimes. And steep driveways...forget about it...If I had 17" wheels from Subydude that problem might be fixed.

Once these stuts are through (which is soon) I'm planning on going with v7 STI suspension to bring it back up and make things stiffer. From looking around here, folks like that set-up and I wont have to always scan the road for bumps, dips, or potholes.
