Problem BC Racing Coilover

the problem that i had was that i adjust the spring (i didnt had the instructions). Found the instructions online and does anyone know the spec or preload of the spring. right now im just keep playin with them and i believe i got the front almost right but the rear is another story.

question on the spring, with one hand cant not move them and two hand u can move them.

Have anyone bought the coilover yet and havent install it, i need the measurement. BR model.

You do not want to preload the spring, just get it snug so it does not move. So you simply start with the upper ring loose and then move up until the spring does not move up or down and then about another half to full turn to snug it up. If you have it up so far that you cannot easily turn it with one hand, it is too tight.

This is my best advice. Based on the thread on Nabisco, they are very helpful.

As I said, you should be able to turn both the ring and the spring itself with one hand pretty easily. If you cant turn the spring or the ring by hand, then it is too tight

right now i goin with the spring feeling by hand. ur opinion one hand push it lighty u cant turn it and pushing it hard u can turn it. or two hand pushing it lighty cant turn it and push it harder can turn it.

Right. It should have a little resistance making it so it does not spin freely with one hand, but can still be turned quite easily. The easiest way to get this right is to loosen it until the spring is flopping around. Then tighten it until it has no room to move up or down. Then add one or two turns to snug the spring in place.

You may want to tighten up the dampening if its too bouncy
