New Product Released - GT SPEC 14 Point Subframe Replacement

Hi guys:

Just released by GT SPEC, 14 points subframe reinforcement braces. Replaced your stock subframe (6 point mount) with these 14 points mount braces. 3 Piece set. This will fit the GT SPEC ver 2 header or Gruppe-s header. It will tight the whole front end of your car.

You can also install the GT SPEC 4 point ladder brace and the mid frame reinforcement brace with the subframe brace giving a 22 point mounts on the front of your subie !!!!

This pic is taken from the Modified 04 STI. It has the GT SPEC GEN II header installed with the HKS turbo kit. Also check Modified Mag March issue for installation article on this brace !!!!

Do you have an idea on the weight difference between this setup and the stock subframe?

Also, any problems getting to the oil filter? It's hard to tell form the pics, but it looks like the brace is real close.

yes, the stock U frame weight about 27 lbs (steel). This setup will weight 13.26 lbs (6063 aluminum).

This is actually the second revision of the brace. It is make to clear to the oil filter !!!

yup, they call it the mid frame brace. It's not part of the 14 point brace, it's a separate brace.

Do you carry that as well? Any chance for a package deal?

yes we do, but it's not release yet. Sure, you can give us a call and place the order. I can do free shipping, which is $25 to $30 for shipping due to the large box.
