After the brakes cooled in the oven, the rubber dust boots came bacik to 95% of their shape.
I could have reused them but I decided to replace them. I was more concerned with the internal piston seal. So I took a piston out, removed the seal and inspected it. There was nothing wrong with it so I didnt replace them.
I have now had the brakes on the car for 2 weeks with no ill effects.

Update:
Brakes have been on the WRX for 9 months and have approximately 8000 miles on them.
Everything is still perfect... no leaks or any issues at all. In fact I just hit one of the front calipers with some brake cleaner which blasted all the brake dust away and made them look brand new again.

Well if given the chance I would have them powdercoated instead of using the VHT caliper paint.
After cleaning them off with brake cleaner... it looks like the brake cleaner ate the clearcoat off... I will have to redo these sometime over the next couple years.
