Is my sway bar upside down? help needed
This may be a newbe question, but is my swat bar backwards and upside down.? I have heard that some go the oposite way of the stock. I also have a problem with the bars hitting my frame so I bought some new end links. I still have the same issue? I also have a anti lift kit which actually should give me a little more clearance from the sub-frame (since I had to install the spacers). Help please...

yep, it looks like it was installed wrong. the top of the end link should be roughly level with the steering arm in the first photo.
why didn't you just take the bar off, turn it arround and reinstall it when you discovered you were having problems with it hitting the frame? why'd you think that new endlinks would fix it? i don't understand...

Yea, it's definitely upside down/reversed. The endlinks should point up, not down regardless of whether it is a stock or aftermarket bar.

personally, if someone at a shop installed my front sway bar wrong, is sure as hell wouldn't go back there to have them fix it. i'd fix it myself since i know i'd do it right. incompetent people and my car don't mix well.

It still doesn't look quite right wrapped around the steering arm like that, but it may just be the design of the Hotchkis bar.

I installed the Hotchkis front bar on my STi and my bar is under the tie rods like the picture from wrXratd with the links going up from the control arm to the Hotchkis bar. I think going over the top of the tie rods is going to have a rub problem during suspension travel.
