must lower front end

I recently replaced my wheels with some 18x8.5's. Now the back looks ok, but the front end is waaay off the ground. There is like 8" of wheel gap under the fender. I'm looking into the sti struts/springs but they only lower the car about 1/2 inch. How can I drop the front to get rid of the gap?

I really don't want to spend that kind of money.. plus I don't track the car or anything. aren't coils overkill for just a street rod?

Or get a different set of springs that lowers the front end more than the set you got...

get the tein flex coilovers. they do cost a bit more than springs but you can always adjust the height.

Prodrive springs do exactly what you are looking for. Most users report that the front drops 1" and the rear drop is almost 0.
