Lowering the Wagon
Hi all:
My former roommate has decided to step up to coils for his '03, and has let me in on a great deal for his KYB AGX struts with Progress springs.
I have an '02 wagon, stock suspension and tires, and I have searched here and Nabisco to try to find if this setup will work for my car.
The package I will be gettting has about 30,000 miles on it, my suspension is looking great at about 70,000. Any advice on whether or not to do this?
Will i need shims for my saggy rear? Will I rub?
Thanks for helping me out!

It will fit.
Might not rub but you will more or less know once they're on the car. As I understand the progress springs aren't a huge drop so you should be ok especially with stock rims/tires.
You will have more problems or at least considerations once you move to aftermarket rims/tires as you will need to be careful about offset and tire width/thickness.
The shims are pretty cheap...you can get some from www.turninconcepts.com. I think you will need them unless these springs are designed for the wagon.
Cliff's notes:
1. It will bolt right up.
2. Might rub...probably only on huge bumps in the road.
3. Shims probably if those springs are for the sedan...they're cheap.
4. Get this stuff...will make a big difference on driving enjoyment.
BTW - I have an '04 Wagon with KYB AGX, JDM Pink wagon springs and Group N tophats. I rub only on the worst bumps...getting my fenders rolled later but it is not very serious at all.
