lowered or stock?

ive seen so many WRXs that have basic bolt-ons, but are riding on stock suspension. im very tempted to put my stock springs back on or at least drop it an inch so i dont have to worry about steep driveways and speed bumps anymore. its a PITA! plus, it's alot more convenient to keep it stock height for all those trips to the snow, bay area roads, and to avoid being a cop magnet.

how many of you lowered your WRX or kept it stock height??

if you kept it stock height, why??

I'm at the stock ride height (oem suspension) because with UK17s, 215/45-17 tires, upper strut bars, COBB sway bars, and a Do-Luck brace...the chassis is plenty stiff. My wife thinks the cars ride is too bumpy as is. Add lowering springs to the mix and I'd never hear the end of it.

I'd love to lower the car another inch or so to take some of the gap out but I really like the convenience of getting in and out of driveways, over speed bumps, etc. fast and with no problems. I've had my share of lowered cars and it's nice not having to worry about it anymore. Prefer to play more with the go-fast parts instead.

Im going the opposite route -- 16's with prodrives.

I agree that 17's and lowered would be a bit too much NVH for a daily driver. The UK 17's are dope though...I would rock them if I had the $
