Just say no to Noltec products!

Had these steering rack bushings in my car for only 8000 miles. Everyone told me to go with Whiteline but I decided to try a different brand. I think the picture says enough. Needless to say, I ended up buying Whitelines anyway and just put them in today.

Could the Noltec parts have been damaged during installation?

Possibly, but split in half? I'd doubt that.

....wow. It looks like those things were put through a meat grinder. I purchased the Whiteline SRB's myself and was very happy with the results.

Is there a chance that:

A. They needed to be re-lubed earlier?
B. You drove hard on them? Running bigger/stickier tires will put more stress on everything...
C. Installed properly?

Just my .02$ as I thought Noltec makes Whitelines bushings.
