I'm not sure, with these spring rates, that you'll ever be able to dial the bumpiness out of it. The springs ARE pre-loaded a bit (you don't want them loose, otherwise it'd be really bumpy as the springs kept crashing into the perches!).
Guess I don't view this mod as a "for everyone who wants to keep the stock ride" kinda thing
. I knew it was gonna be bumpy, and am prepared to live with it.
BTW, hoping to go get the Formels after work tonight and try them.

the bumpiness i expected, however, i didn't think that the bounciness would be so bad. i have minimal preload on the springs, with my settings at soft+2 front, soft+10 in the rear. i could see the car bounce up and down when it was on the lift to get the alignment. i'm going to try full stiff in front and rear when i get the chance.

Another update : I got the Rota Formels (17x7.5", 48mm offset, 215/45R17 tires) out of storage today. Good news : they DO FIT
Probably 8-10 mm of clearance to the adjuster perch, more than I thought. Yes, this also means I can go back (later, once my wallet stops smoking
) and get the rear alignment redone at -1.0° of camber and still have everything work.
I'll try and get some pics of it all this weekend or so.
