Hey, Peaty...brake question...?

I was just curious as to what you were doing in the pic posted within this thread? What's the purpose...I mean, if a person shouldn't let the MC run dry, then what's the purpose of taking out the fluid from the resevoir?

Here's the link...it's the last couple of posts within the thread

Brake Bleeding..

Any info. would be great. Curious, but Subaru 4 pots won't work with the stock WRX wheels, will they? Maybe next brake upgrade...

Thanks,
i.

[hijacks thread after recently bleeding brakes per Peaty's instructions]

You don't run it totally dry- just suck the excess out of the reservoir to speed the bleeding process up. Pull out most of the old fluid and fill it with new before you begin bleeding.

I think...

I have visualized it. It seems like a pretty straight forward thing to do.

Anyone know where I can purchase that type of pump?

Later,

why the upgrade to the h6's rears?

Just curious, is all. What made you decide on that specific upgrade/install?

I hope I like the stoptech's...as I am sure that they will serve my purpose, till the next upgrade makes it on the car.

Thanks again,

i.
