So i was looking into buying a bar mainly for the harnesses when i come across the fact that it supposedly stiffens the chassis. I dont see myself purchasing the pricy bar based soley on its ability to hold the harnesses but if it really does signficantly reduce roll i might be able to find it in my budget. Does anyone know if it actualy helps at all and if so, would you recomend it...thanks

DONT USE A FLOOR BAR! You want to keep your angle above 35 degrees. If you crash and roll the belts will compress your spine and it will be very nasty. So keep em high. Get a 3pt belt and use the back seat sholder strap mounting hole. Also, you should have a child seat mount next to your speakers in the rear. You can use that too but it wont be as strong.
