i just recently bought an h brace from ebay, it seemed to fit fine on the pictures and so i thought ill give it a try. As soon as i got em, i did a test fit... to my suprise, they didnt fit. Mainly becuase of the headers being in the dam way (mind you that i have a 05 rs). So to my experience, i believe that the h brace will only fit on the EJ20s and not on EJ25. Tho i dont kno about fitment on the STIs.

If anyone can prove me wrong or find a solution, please...... please feel free to let me kno becuase i dont want to have wasted my money on this.

nope, it doesnt fit a 03 rs either. as i tried also, and my headers were in the way, and the sub frame was in the way.

If you got the lower h brace for the WRX it will not fit on the 2.5na motors. The main cross bar on the brace fits between the up-pipe and the down-pipe for the turbo.

On the 2.5na motors that is where the header collector is and this keeps the brace from installing properly.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago and it took me 15 minutes to figure out which bolts it was supposed to attach to and then figured out the exhaust was in the way. DOOO!!!

Fitment on the WRX and STi should be the same.
